Inner Atlas

Atlas

A field guide to recurring ideas across the Library — each entry links to where it is explained in context, like annotations on a star chart.

Start with Foundation guides, then browse by tab — Map levels for the consciousness scale, or Core distinctions for letting go and power.

Foundation articles

Start here before diving into individual concepts. These four articles are the trunk of the learning path — the concepts below link back to sections inside them.

Map of Consciousness levels

Calibration numbers describe the quality of a state or field of perception in this framework — not a judgment of a person's worth.

Shame (20)

The feeling of being discredited or reduced to nothing — close to death on the map. Withdrawal, hiding, and harsh self-judgment.

Guilt (30)

Remorse and self-blame used to control behavior. Fixation on sin, punishment, and the posture of victimhood.

Apathy (50)

Poverty of energy and hopelessness. The world looks dead; even basic action feels impossible without help.

Grief (75)

Sadness and loss made habitual. Regret about the past colors the present, but carries more life than apathy.

Fear (100)

Projection of danger into the future. The world looks hazardous; control and vigilance dominate perception.

Desire (125)

Insatiable wanting that drives action and addiction. Energetic, but satisfaction never lasts.

Anger (150)

Frustrated want turned outward. Can build justice or corrode life when it becomes a chronic stance.

Pride (175)

Brittle self-esteem tied to being right, winning, or looking good. Defensive and divisive — still below the 200 threshold.

Courage (200)

The integrity threshold — the first level of true power. Fear may remain, but truth and responsibility return.

Neutrality (250)

Release from rigid positions. Outcomes matter less; inner confidence and freedom from conflict grow.

Willingness (310)

Openness to learn and contribute without pride. Gateway to higher levels through honest self-correction.

Acceptance (350)

Recognition that you are the source of your experience. Engaged with life without denial or victimhood.

Reason (400)

Intelligence and abstraction — science, medicine, conceptual mastery. Powerful, but can miss essence for detail.

Love (500)

Unconditional, heart-centered awareness at calibration 500. Sees essence, nurtures without possessing, and does not need reciprocity.

Joy (540)

Inner joy that persists through adversity. Healing, patience, and compassion radiate through presence alone.

Peace (600)

Transcendent stillness where subject and object merge. Extremely rare — awareness of the sacred in all things.

Self-Realization (700–849)

Identification with the separate self dissolves into Self — consciousness aware of itself as consciousness.

Enlightenment (850–1,000)

The highest range of human consciousness. Separation dissolves; existence is beyond time, self, and lack.

Grief reservoir

Stored sorrow that surfaces in waves — grieving in windows allows completion without drowning in the feeling.
